This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Ata Dizdar is joined by Kaan Bayazit. Results from the Turkish Cup and the schedule for week 18 of the Turkish Super League is reviewed. The main news topic discuss in the loaning of Bruma of Galatasaray (who happens to be out for the season with an ACR tear) to Gaziantepspor. This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Jeremy returns to the podcast after a month long absence. The Turkish Cup group stages kicked off and the first matchday is reviewed, along with a brief run down on the Turkish Airlines Antalya Cup friendly tournament (which Jeremy goes over). The major news of the week concerns the Kasimpasa-Besiktas match from week 15 of this season. The Turkish Football Federation ruled that the game was to be replayed due to a rules infraction, and the issues surrounding that decision is discussed.

Bring On The Transfer Rumors - TFW vol. 51 - January 06, 2014
This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Kaan Bayazit joins Ata Dizdar for the third straight week. Week 17 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed as the Turkish Super League takes it's winter break. This includes a rundown of the standings and what may potentially be in store for the beginning of the second half of the season as an early preview. The main talking points in terms of news concerns two coaching situations in Kayserispor and Trabzonspor. While the podcast doesn't delve into transfer rumors (because let's face it, this is the Turkish sports media after all), two rumors are discussed in particular this week. This concerns Gremio left back Alex Telles to Galatasaray, and Ronaldinho to Besiktas.

This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Jeremy is out of the country, so Ata is joined this week by Kaan Bayazit. Week 15 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. This includes an analysis of the "eventful" match between Kasimpasa and Besiktas. The opponents for Galatasaray and Trabzonspor in their respective European competitions have been drawn, and the initial prospects of them advancing are debated. The Turkish Cup 5th round came to an end, and the results are reported on. There is a discussion of various issues in the news surrounding Turkish football. One of which are two coaching resignations, one of which might come as a surprise considering how said coach's team has been doing in the league recently, and which will take effect at the end of the first half of the current season. Also, the two hosts delve into a discussion of the aftermath of the Kasimpasa-Besiktas match. The podcast concludes with a discussion on Manuel Fernandes, whose conduct has come into question recently. It's been reported that Fernandes said that he will not play in Turkey again, and the hosts debate his value to Besiktas and whether he should stay or be sold.

This week on Turkish Football Weekly, the talk concerns winter weather and politics in the sport. Week 14 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. The group stages in both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League have ended, and the hosts speak about both matches involving Turkish teams in their respective competitions. This includes the Galatasaray-Juventus match that had to be played over two days due to snow, and the pitch at Turk Telekom Arena when that match resumed. The major news of the week was the PFDK summoning Fethiyespor, Didier Drogba, and Emmanuel Eboue for political reasons that got the Turkish Football Federation in the news for all the wrong reasons. The hosts debate those summonings.

Earl and Robert return from a short sabbatical to bring you back up to speed on what is happening in Major League Soccer, and it's big - the MLS Cup Playoffs are finally here!

The guys break down the final table, and give you a glimpse as to what they expect for the 4 versus 5 Play-in Round of the Playoffs.

They also cover the most recent news out of the domestic league, including the potential entry of Orlando City to MLS in the near future. They close the show with some silliness which is liable to offend the fans of one or more teams in the league. Trust us, we're only having fun!

How To Troll Trabzon Style - TFW vol. 39 - October 11, 2013
This week on Turkish Football Weekly, week 7 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. This includes the very "eventful" Fenerbahce-Trabzonspor match, which made more headlines by who showed up at the match. News this week features a shake-up of Kayserispor, and the sanctions handed out by the PFDK after the Fenerbahce-Trabzonspor match. The hosts go into a debate about said person who showed up at that match, Trabzonspor chairman Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, and the events surrounding his appearance. The main debate topic there is whether if it was a good idea for Haciosmanoglu to show up in Sukru Saracoglu stadium to watch the match, especially considering what happened to him after the match was over. Konak Belediyesi's performance in the UEFA Women's Champions League is reviewed. Black Eagles Fans Check In, Terim Checks Out - TFW vol. 36 - September 27, 2013
A very lengthy episode is on tap for this week's Turkish Football Weekly. But considering the two headlines that made the rounds not only within Turkey but beyond Turkey's borders, it will be worth the time. Week 5 results of the Turkish Super League get reviewed, and the week 6 schedule is discussed. The Besiktas-Galatasaray match from week 5 gets reviewed in its own segment, as the hosts look into the derby which featured good football, but a lot of fans wanting to "get involved" to put it mildly. Also, the subsequent sanctions handed out by the TFF's Professional Football Disciplinary Committee, mostly against Besiktas, are reviewed. While that would have taken a good chunk of an episode by itself, Galatasaray countered with its own headline making move. The hosts discuss Galatasaray's sacking of manager Fatih Terim, and whether it was shocking or perhaps to be expected.

This week on Turkish Football Weekly, there's going to be a lot of frustration vented towards match officials. Week 4 results of the Turkish Super League are reviewed. Particular discussion centers on the direct red card given to Eskisehirspor's Erkan Zengin in their match against Sivasspor. Liga Bancomer MX Open With 19 Goals in 7 Games - MSS vol. 30 - July 23, 2013
First Division Mexican football returned with 19 goals in seven games. Darío Benedetto debuted in Liga Bancomer MX with a hat-trick, Kikin Fonseca got ejected for fouling Rafa Márquez on two occasions (he says Rafa flopped), Reyna scored a goal in the dying minutes of the match against Chiapas FC to give Tiburones Rojos an important 2-2 tie, and Pachuca got three important points at Nemesio Díez. Tom, Jonny, and Nayib review all of Liga Bancomer MX's first week, and they give their predictions for the upcoming El Tri Gold Cup semifinal against Panamá.

Mad About Futbol vol. 46 - From Miami To Barcelona - July 23, 2013
On this edition of the Mad About Futbol Show, the guys were joined by Uncle Ed of the Miami Ultras as well as from the Miami Chapter of the American Outlaws to talk about the prospect of Miami in MLS. We also scheduled Joseph Goodman of the Miami Herald but he refused to come on the show to talk about his article on South Beach and David Beckham.

Ed spoke about the latest goings on in this never-ending saga to bring an MLS team back to South Florida as well as a chance to help convince Juan and George about the prospects a little more.

We were also joined by SB Nation columnist Xoel Cárdenas to talk about the biggest news of the day- the hiring of Gerardo Martino as coach of FC Barcelona. Xoel expressed his initial skepticism about the hiring of the former Paraguayan national team and Newell's Old Boys coach as well as what "Tata" will offer his new team.

Xoel also points out that this squad will have some major issues to deal with, especially on defense this coming season. Surely lots of interesting topics that are dealt with by Xoel in this episode.
